As co-creator of the TAKE10 CPR program, Louis describes the vision of the program as empowering community members to take CPR training to others in the community resulting in dramatic improvements in survival from sudden cardiac arrest in our communities. During his more than 25 years experience in Emergency Medical Services, Louis has published peer-reviewed medical journal articles on cardiac arrest, CPR, and heart attack as well as trade journal articles on community response to medical emergencies topics. Louis received his undergraduate degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University and will earn his Master of Public Health degree from the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health in May 2016.
