Understanding and Addressing Challenging Behaviors in the Classroom 

In this session, participants will learn basic strategies and tips for reducing challenging behaviors in students with disabilities. Ideas for how to support, document, and communicate with teachers will also be shared.

Cyndi O’Toole, M.A., BCBA is a Program Manager at ESC Region 13. She is the statewide lead for autism spectrum disorders training. She received her master's degree from The University of Northern Colorado, attended Texas State University to complete her Educational Diagnostician certification, and is a board certified behavior analyst. Cyndi’s experience in education includes being an elementary teacher of the deaf, life skills teacher, and Educational Diagnostician.
