I'm an elementary school librarian. I spent 18 years as a classroom teacher (grades 5 & 6) and am in my 8th year as a librarian (K-5). I am a voracious reader of children's literature. I enjoy working with children, collaborating with teachers, and advising parents. I'm originally from Houston but have lived in Austin for 13 years. My family includes my husband, two teenaged children, three dogs, and my library tortoise.
