Hi! My name is Raine Maggio and I'm the GT Coordinator at LTMS. I've been teaching gifted for 18 of my 21 years of teaching. I spent the first 15 years in elementary before moving on for new experiences in middle school. I graduated from the University of Texas in 1995 and I earned my Master's in Educational Psychology and Gifted Education from UNT in 2011. I have been fortunate to receive many awards over the years: 2006 Region XIII Outstanding Teacher of the Gifted, Rachel Carsen Women in Math and Science, 2007 Great Oaks Elementary teacher of the Year, and 2007 Round Rock ISD Elementary District Teacher of the Year. I am passionate about the social and emotional growth of gifted children and adults, as well as meeting their academic needs.

I'm the proud mom of LTHS Senior, Greyson, who will soon be off to play NCAA lacrosse and get a fantastic education at Hendrix College, and to my creative and inspiring 8th grade engineer, Quinn.
